| Alright, so I decided to make a post per worldstate instead of introducing my OCs individually to make things easier for everyone. This first worldstate features Ana Surana as the Warden, Alwyn Hawke as the Champion and Violette Surana (Ana's mom) as the Inquisitor. It's also my most developed worldstate so far. Ana Surana Full Name: Surana Nicknames: Ana, Stardust (by Varric), Hummingbird (by Carver, mostly used in private) Rank/Title: Hero of Ferelden, Warden-Commander Class: Mage Affiliation: Ferelden, the Grey Wardens, the Rebel Mages. Specialization: Arcane Warrior / Battlemage Romanced: Alistair (deceased), Carver Hawke (married in 9:40) Birthday: 28th of Drakonis 9:10 Dragon Age: 20 in DAO, 31 in DAI. Race: Elf Birthplace: The Gallows, Kirkwall. Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Grey Complexion: Pale, with freckles. Height: 4'11" Body Type: Petite, straight figure, no visible curves to speak of (think Keira Knightley, but a lot shorter). Sexuality: Bisexual Gender/Pronouns: She/her Scars/Tattoos/Piercings:- Long scars along her back from being whipped as a child.

Personality: Ana is an easy-going person. People often joke that she could make friends with anyone, something that has proven to be true as she's known to have befriended even Templars. It takes a lot for her to get angry, but when she does, you better run because she's about to unleash the full strength of her powers on you. She's also fiercely loyal to her friends to the point where she'll stick with them no matter what. She's passionate, strong-willed and kind, but also very stubborn and snarky (she is very likely to crack a joke at an inappropriate time). Background:- Spoiler:
TW: mentions of abuse.Ana was born in Kirkwall's Gallows on the 28th of Drakonis 9:10 Dragon, the daughter of Violette Surana and the future First Enchanter, Orsino. She was immediately taken to the Chantry by Ser Raleigh Samson and was raised in a Chantry orphanage in Highever until she was six years old at which age her magic manifested. She froze the hand of a boy who was bullying her. By the time the Templars arrived to take her to the Circle, the other children had teamed up against her to beat her. She was brought to Kinloch Hold where she quickly befriended Anders, with whom she would develop a brother-sister relationship, Jowan, Daylen Amell and Finn, whose relationship with her leaned more towards "friendly rivalry." Growing up, Ana spent most of her time in the library, reading History books and dreaming of mage heroes saving the world in epic battles. She worked hard, aspiring to one day rise to their levels. She hoped that if she proved herself a competent, highly-skilled mage, she would be allowed to leave the tower. At age ten, Karl Thekla was assigned as her mentor. Their studies ended abruptly, however, when Karl was transferred to Kirkwall in 9:23. First Enchanter Irving took his place as Ana's mentor. Under his tutelage, she would eventually become one of the most talented mages in the tower. A year later, she was whipped repeatedly by an overzealous templar who had taken a dislike to her. She did not tell anyone for fear that she would be made tranquil until one day, she passed out in the library due to her wounds getting infected. Upon learning the truth, the healers warned the First Enchanter who, in turn, spoke to Knight-Commander Greagoir. Furious, the Knight-Commander sent the templar away with a lot of violence. On the 19th of Solace 9:26, Ana gave birth to a daughter. Allowed to spend the day with her, she named her Neriah, after one of the heroes of the Second Blight. Ana refused to reveal the identity of the father, Daylen Amell. Neriah was subsequently taken to the Chantry orphanage in Kirkwall. You can read her full story here. Personality: The first thing that would strike you when you meet him is how little he takes himself seriously. But don't let this clownish facade fool you. Deep down, Alwyn hides his pain behind an (often inappropriate) sense of humour. He can make light of any situation, but the wall might crack if the pain gets too great, as is often the case when it comes to his family. Alwyn is someone who feels deeply about others, he loves people with his entire soul, which makes it all the more painful when he loses a person close to him. Background:- Spoiler:
TW: child death.Alwyn Hawke was born on the 11th of Cloudreach, in 9:06 Dragon, the son of Malcolm Hawke and Leandra Amell. His father, a Circle mage in Kirkwall, met his mother at a banquet held by Viscount Perrin Threnhold in Grand Duchess Florianne's honour. They met in secret until Leandra became pregnant with Alwyn, at which point Malcolm escaped the Circle. The couple settled in Ferelden where they would have three other children: Belinda, born a little over a year later, and twins Carver and Bethany, born in the winter of 9:11. Growing up, Alwyn was close to his three siblings, especially his little brother. His sisters had manifested their magic at a young age and, for a long time, it was believed that he would not develop any magical abilities. But tragedy would strike the Hawke family when, in 9:19, Belinda died in a boating accident. The two siblings had gone fishing in the sea when a storm broke out. Belinda fell overboard and drowned. Alwyn tried to save her but, panicking, manifested his magic for the first time. He would never forgive himself for what happened that day. Afterwards, the family eventually put down roots on a farm, in the outskirts of Lothering. They lived a peaceful life, making sure not to draw too much attention to themselves. Personality: Violette is not a people person. She is blunt and spiteful, and she's been called a cold-hearted bitch, which is mostly true. She can be selfish, putting her own interests first, but she's not as heartless as she seems. If you manage to earn her friendship, then you'll be part of those interests and your wellbeing will become a priority for her because, even though she doesn't have many friends, she cares deeply about them. Likewise, if your own interests line up with hers, she'll appear much more friendly towards you than she would with other people. Background:- Spoiler:
TW: mentions of abuse.Violette Surana was born in 8:85 Blessed to two Orlesian elven servants working for Meghren, the then King of Ferelden. Although she grew up in Ferelden, she saw very little of the country or its inhabitants, her parents sheltering her as much as they could. Her magic first manifested shortly after her tenth birthday. While her parents tried to hide it, Violette drew the attention of Sevran, Meghren's arcane advisor and king in all but name. He took an interest in her and started training her. Why a man like him would even care about a low-life elf, she never knew. She would later suspect that he had the intention of grooming her into becoming his pawn. None of it would matter, however, when Prince Maric went to Denerim and killed Severan. He let the thirteen-year-old girl leave, advising her to go somewhere safe. Violette jumped on the first boat out of Ferelden with barely a second thought — not even for her parents, whom she had barely seen in the past three years. Upon docking in Kirkwall, she was captured by Templars who had been warned of her arrival by someone on the crew who had witnessed her practise her magic in secret. They took her to the Gallows where she would soon befriend Malcolm Hawke. In 9:05, the mages performed at Viscount Perrin Threnhold's banquet held for Grand Duchess Florianne. It was there that Malcolm met and fell in love with Leandra Amell. While Violette was confused as to how one could fall in love with someone they don't even know, she still helped her friend by creating a distraction for them to slip away undetected. She drank a lot of wine and made a scene, concluding her performance by vomiting on Ser Meredith Stannard's armour. The two women would become bitter enemies in the years that followed. Malcolm escaped the Gallows soon after, leaving her alone at the mercy of the Templars. Not that she cared, she kept telling herself. Violette gave birth to a daughter in 9:10 Dragon who was taken to the Chantry by the Templars. The girl, who was given the name Surana, would later become the Hero of Ferelden. Her father was Orsino, the future First Enchanter, although Violette kept his identity a secret for his protection. A year later, Violette found herself pregnant again. This time, she would not let them take her child. She carefully prepared her escape, seducing a templar to steal his keys and slipping out in the middle of the night. She managed to get out of Kirkwall before getting caught. Violette went back to Ferelden and found her old friend Malcolm who had since then started a family with two children and another two on the way. She agreed to help him deliver the twins in exchange for his help during her own pregnancy. On the 25th of Guardian 9:12 Dragon, Violette gave birth to her second daughter, Nemea. In the years that followed, Violette would move around a lot for her daughter's safety, never staying in one place for more than a couple of years, especially after Nemea's magic manifested.
